The Emblem Crew #7: Challenger Approaching (1/4)

Fresh from Saturday’s cliffhanger, a new four-parter approaches…

It’s also back to the normal 2-a-row format. Suggestions (and any feedback otherwise) are appreciated on new formats.

I was and still am a bit worried about this story, but now that I’ve rewritten the scripts for a third time, I’m a lot happier with this. The problem with the first two drafts was that they were way too dark and serious for what’s supposed to be a sitcom. Well, I suppose it’s allowed to be dark and serious, but they just weren’t funny at all.

But now I’ve figured out how to make them funny. I realised that just by having small groups of characters locked in rooms together, it could be humorous without taking away from the more serious plot. Hopefully the next few episodes turn out well, then.

“Okay! Shulk, Roy, Ike, we’ll take my bedroom. It’s closest.”

Wow. That sounds rather different out of context, heh.

Anyways, your emails were being marked as spam by Gmail. Can’t tell you why.

Can’t wait for the next update!
